Courtyard entertaining space
The client brief was to transform their bland courtyard garden into a beautiful entertain space.
The garden was very much on display and needed to sit seamlessly with the newly renovated interior.
One of challenges for this small garden was to create a space that was a continuation of the open plan kitchen diner and for it to flow as one..
We decided treat the space very much as an ‘outdoor room’. Producing a scheme and palette as if it was an interiors project. Floors, walls and ‘ceiling’.
We created a bold colour palette, with soft pinks, greys and verdigris tones.
The garden was very much over looked by the surrounding houses the garden needed grounding, the pergola helped draw your eye down into the space and create a frame for the space.
Lucy spent a year working with us to plan our dream outside space. Lucy presented fabulous ideas and worked with us to tailor it to our budget and we are loving using the space both to entertain and relax in - Client review
